Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC loves embracing our community and giving back. Here are just a few events that we were thrilled to be a part of!


Jill's Next Door donated a basket of items and gift cards to raise money for the Family Promise of South Palm Beach County. Family Promise of South Palm Beach County believes that every child deserves a home. We empower families in making their transition from homelessness to sustainable independence. By 2025, Family Promise of South Palm Beach County intends to be the transformative regional leader in ending family homelessness.


Due to the COVID-19 virus, and its effect on small businesses, Hopportunities hosted a "Love Our Locals" event that shined the spotlight on businesses in Delray Beach. Jill's Next Door and 10+ local vendors from all different industries, $1000 worth of raffle prizes, came together to support the EJS Project and their work with underprivileged youth in our communities. The Emanuel Jackson Sr. Project is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to build and empower our future leaders. The organization was founded in 2014 by Emanuel “Dupree” Jackson, Jr. Dupree’s desire to make a difference in his community inspired him to create an organization that gave power back to the youth. He dedicated the organization to his late father and honored him by naming the organization after him.


Jill's Next Door sponsored the St Petrick's Day Costume Contest benefitting Dezzy’s Second Chance Animal Rescue. Dezzy's is a 501 (c) (3) and a Florida Non Profit that provides homeless dogs and cats in Palm Beach and Broward County with the opportunity to find a new loving home. Located on the Boca Raton, Delray Beach border, Dezzy’s Second Chance is an Animal Rescue that prides itself on connecting individuals and families with the pet of their dreams. Jill's Next Door donated 6 new, unused pillows supporting Sweet Dream Makers. Sweet Dream Makers is a growing nonprofit organization, founded in 2012 in response to an overwhelming community need to get children into a bed of their own. They deliver new beds, at no cost, to children and families sleeping on the floor, sharing beds, or sleeping in unsafe, unsanitary conditions. They work alongside 75+ local social service agencies, and have proudly provided thousands of beds to hundreds of families. Sweet Dream Makers is dedicated to ensuring the basic comfort and security necessary for each child to reach their full potential. 


Jill's Next Door donated time to paint the Family Promise of South Palm Beach County's Day Center for homeless families transitioning to sustainable independence. Family Promise of South Palm Beach County provides basic human services to the most vulnerable in our community: shelter/housing, food, human interaction, case management, and mental health counseling. We are able to achieve a consistent 90% success rate through our professional staff and our dedicated network of volunteers from local multifaith congregations.


Jill's Next Door donated dog walking and pet sitting gift certificates to help raise money for Dezzy's Second Chance Animal Rescue at "Loves Pawfect Day" event.There are millions of loveable, healthy dogs and cats that desperately need homes across the United States. Due to overpopulation of homeless pets, 4 million are euthanized every year— that’s 11,000 pets every day. Fortunately, Dezzy’s Second Chance provides homeless dogs and cats in Palm Beach and Broward County with the opportunity to find a new loving home. Located on the Boca Raton, Delray Beach border, Dezzy’s Second Chance is an Animal Rescue that prides itself on connecting individuals and families with the pet of their dreams.


Jill's Next Door raised almost $500 doing what they do best--dog walking--for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS)! LLS is a global leader in the fight against cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all monetary donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by tax laws. Jill's Next Door participates in horse yoga, benefitting the HERD Foundation in Delray Beach, Florida. The HERD Foundation's mission is to provide South Florida with equine-assisted activities designed to empower individuals to achieve personal development through the unique relationship between humans and horses. Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential learning approach designed to help participants identify, face, and work through life issues. EAL is similar to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), but instead of conducting psychotherapy,  the focus is more toward education and skill enhancement. EAL programs often focus on social skills and leadership development.


Jill's Next Door donated 6 pair of uniform bottoms to Delray Beach's Milagro Center for school children. Milagro Center is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure the social and academic success of underserved children and youth through Cultural Arts, Living Values, Academic Support, and Mentoring. This unique, innovative, and effective model allows Milagro’s children and teens to develop new skills, build self-esteem, and thrive socially and academically.  Milagro Center truly changes the course of these deserving children’s lives from repeating the recurring cycle of poverty to becoming self-sufficient and productive members of our community.


Team Jill's Next Door ran the 12 Annual Run, Sweat, & Beers 5K, benefitting the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center! The Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center is a non-profit community agency of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. The center provides a broad range of enriching programs and services for individuals of all ages and abilities to meet the diverse needs of its members, and the Jewish community and the community at large. Levis JCC promotes and enhances Jewish culture, heritage and values through educational, spiritual, social, wellness and recreational programs. From preschool and summer camp, to teen and family activities, from athletics to cultural arts, adult enrichment and special needs programming. 



Team Jill's Next Door joined the "Trashy Mermaids" the first Saturday of every month @ 9am near the S3 Lifeguard Station for a Fabulous and Fun Beach Clean Up! The Beach Cleanup Program provides the opportunity for families, individuals and groups to participate in beach cleanups. Every one of us can do something to help protect our environment! We  take action by removing trash and man-made debris from areas where it doesn't belong. 



Team Jill's Next Door joined South Florida's largest charitable 10K running race, benefitting dogs and cats in need. All proceeds go to Tri-County Animal Rescue in Boca Raton, Florida. Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% No-Kill, 501(c)3, nonprofit animal shelter working to prevent the killing of over 170,000 unwanted pets in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties each year. Since their inception, they have saved over 80,000 domestic animals (some were just minutes before euthanasia) and plan to continue rescuing as many as pawsible!
