3RD ANNUAL TOY DRIVE
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC donated boxes of toys to the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County strive to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Relying on the dedicated personnel, both paid and volunteer, and the efficient use of facilities, the Boys & Girls Clubs provide quality programs with a special emphasis on disadvantaged youth regardless of race, creed, or socioeconomic background. To achieve this vision, the organization works to strengthen its diversity by actively involving local communities and other youth service agencies in providing needed services to youth.
PSI's HUNGER BOWL PET FOOD DRIVE
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC partnered with two local school students from American Heritage School and the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts to run Pet Sitter International’s Hunger Bowl Pet Food Drive to donate to Tri-County Animal Rescue! It runs from November 29-December 19, 2022. All the items needed are on our Amazon Wishlist that will be sent directly to us to tally the poundage of food collected and delivered to Tri-County. Please consider donating to this amazing cause! Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% No-Kill, 501(c)3, nonprofit animal shelter working to prevent the killing of over 170,000 unwanted pets in local counties each year.
Heartfelt Art Supply Drive for children
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC donated a box of art supplies to Delray Beach's HeARTfelt fundraiser. HeARTfelt is an Arts Garage initiative benefiting local schools and their arts education programs. Arts Garage asks residents to donate art materials and gift cards throughout the year, donating to four schools annually. The collected supplies will be donated to Spady Elementary School. Arts Garage's programs at Arts Garage bring local, emerging artists and established global performers into our multi-cultural community — students and adults, locals and tourists, people of all ages, income levels, backgrounds and who share a love of the arts.
2nd ANNUAL POOCHES & PRESENTS IN THE PARK
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC supported Pets' Broward's 2nd Annual Pooches & Presents in the Park fundraising event, with a booth to raise pet care and animal rescue awareness! Pets’ Broward is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to create a community which no longer kills adoptable shelter pets and where all pets and people are valued and treated with respect, kindness, and compassion. They safeguard, rescue, foster, heal, adopt and advocate for animals in need while inspiring community action and compassion on their behalf. They also provide services that decrease shelter intakes, as well as help pet owners in need. Pets' Broward promotes the humane treatment of animals through education, advocacy, and other services.
SOUNDS TO STIR YOUR SOUL BENEFIT
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC participated in the Sounds to Stir Your Soul event, benefitting Wayside House. The mission of Wayside House, is to be a healing environment that helps women with drug and alcohol dependence by providing them with tools to rebuild their lives, reconnect with loved ones and recover from active addiction. It was founded in 1974 by Dr. Susan B. Anthony, great niece of the women’s rights advocate of the same name, and Phyllis Michelfelder. As women in recovery, these two pioneers recognized the need for a safe and supportive haven for women who were grappling with alcohol and drug addiction. Wayside House has become “home” to countless numbers of women who have struggled to reclaim their sobriety and their lives.
PET SUPPLIES AND SIPS EVENT
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC donated items to Deck 84's Supplies & Sips Benefitting Tri County Animal Rescue - Part of the Do Good Delray event series. Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% No-Kill, 501(c)3, nonprofit animal shelter working to prevent the killing of over 170,000 unwanted pets in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties each year. Since their inception, they have saved over 80,000 domestic animals (some were just minutes before euthanasia) and plan to continue rescuing as many as pawsible! TCAR always needs help getting their small and large fur babies get some fresh air! To become a dog walker you must be 18 years of age or older and provide proof of health insurance.
PARTNERS WITH A PURPOSE
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC participated in the Partners With A Purpose event, benefitting CROS Ministries. CROS belief is that to be successful in addressing hunger, the community must come together. For 44 years, CROS Ministries has been a constant presence in the community, “standing in the gap” for our hungry neighbors in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Their mission is to serve the hungry in Palm Beach and Martin Counties. We use the talents of a volunteer force to help families and individuals from falling into the downward spiral of poverty, food insecurity, and, in many cases, homelessness. Programs include: eight Community Food Pantries, Gleaning, The Caring Kitchen, and CROS Camp.
HURRICANE IAN SUPPLY DRIVE
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC donated items in need to The Delray Bach Chamber of Commerce for the victims of the recent hurricane-- in partnership with the Naples Chamber of Commerce and Sanibel and Captiva Island Chamber of Commerce. Items donated by JND include dog and cat food (wet and dry), kitty litter, poop bags, and more. Our collective hope is that we continue to help aid the areas of devastation and those impacted by Hurricane Ian. Every small donation helps, and we continue to track supplies need to be a strong support to our west coast neighbors. PICTURE PERFECT: TEEN PHOTO SHOWCASE
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC supported Achievement Centers for Children and Families through the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Do Good Delray Initiative, who are proud to present Picture Perfect, ACCF’s First Annual Teen Photo Showcase. ACCF Teens will display their creativity through photography, on display at Chick-Fil-A, Delray Beach during October and featured in ACCF’s first annual calendar. Stop by 1800 S Federal Avenue in Delray Beach to show your support and buy a cookie or a brownie to give back to ACCF!
HURRICANE IAN FOOOD DRIVE
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC supported their neighbors on Florida's west coast by donating pet supplies on Sunday, October 9, 2022, benefitting those impacted by rising waters caused by Hurricane Ian. The food bank provides disaster meals and supplies to the hardest-hit areas in our community. The food bank is working at an 'above and beyond' level to provide sustaining nutrition and supplies for families and seniors impacted by Hurricane Ian. The calls for additional food assistance have only just begun and will increase daily as families and seniors try to get back on their feet again.
THE INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP EVENT
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC joined The International Coastal Cleanup removing waste from our beaches! ICC is the world's largest, volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment. Every year, volunteers from over 100 countries descend on local beaches, rivers, lakes, and canals to show their commitment to cleaner waterways. The Ocean Conservancy, the world's largest organization focusing exclusively on the health of the marine environment, has sponsored this annual event for the past 37 years.
BLOOD DONATION EVENT SUPPORTING CANCER
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC participated Cason United Methodist Church's Mobile Blood Drive aiding people that suffer from Blood Cancer. September is Blood Cancer awareness month! Please donate blood and fight cancer! Hospitals are in great need of donors of ALL blood types, so we have partnered up with @myoneblood to bring the blood drive right to our doorstep! This event changes the lives of individuals struggling with Blood Cancer, and provides donations to local hospitals in need. The Big Red Bus is back on Sunday, September 11th, from 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM.
EAT BETTER, LIVE BETTER FOOD DRIVE
Team Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC donated a large box of canned vegetables, pasta, peanut butter, pasta sauce, and other needed items to our local food drive for Eat Better Live Better. EBLB is improving nutrition for children and fighting childhood obesity and diet related health conditions. In conjunction with online content, EBLB provides age appropriate and game-changing curricula that is interactive, effective, and that kids of all ages love! Youth retain the nutrition information that we provide, and they look forward to learning.
FOCUS ON WOMEN PROGRAM
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC took part in The Focus on Women program's Summer Soiree, supporting local businesses and women leaders. The Focus on Women programs feature networking and educational opportunities for the professional women in our community. The Delray Beach Chamber Women's Focus programs brings women together for camaraderie and empowerment. Each Focus on Women event has a different format. It is a program not only empowering women, but supports charities through their local events and programs in Delray Beach, Florida.
UNIFORM DRIVE FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC donated 6 pair of uniform bottoms to Delray Beach's Milagro Center for school children. Milagro Center is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure the social and academic success of underserved children and youth through Cultural Arts, Living Values, Academic Support, and Mentoring. This unique, innovative, and effective model allows Milagro’s children and teens to develop new skills, build self-esteem, and thrive socially and academically. Milagro Center truly changes the course of these deserving children’s lives from repeating the recurring cycle of poverty to becoming self-sufficient and productive members of our community.

RUN, SWEAT, & BEERS 5K RUN/WALK
Team Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC ran the 12 Annual Run, Sweat, & Beers 5K, benefitting the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center! The Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center is a non-profit community agency of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. The center provides a broad range of enriching programs and services for individuals of all ages and abilities to meet the diverse needs of its members, and the Jewish community and the community at large. Levis JCC promotes and enhances Jewish culture, heritage and values through educational, spiritual, social, wellness and recreational programs. From preschool and summer camp, to teen and family activities, from athletics to cultural arts, adult enrichment and special needs programming.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, and its effect on small businesses, Hopportunities hosted a "Love Our Locals" event that shined the spotlight on businesses in Delray Beach. Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC and 10+ local vendors from all different industries, $1000 worth of raffle prizes, came together to support the EJS Project and their work with underprivileged youth in our communities. The Emanuel Jackson Sr. Project is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to build and empower our future leaders. The organization was founded in 2014 by Emanuel “Dupree” Jackson, Jr. Dupree’s desire to make a difference in his community inspired him to create an organization that gave power back to the youth. He dedicated the organization to his late father and honored him by naming the organization after him.
25 MILE DOG WALK CHALLENGE
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC raised almost $500 doing what they do best--dog walking--for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS)! LLS is a global leader in the fight against cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all monetary donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by tax laws. YOGA WITH HORSES
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC participates in horse yoga, benefitting the HERD Foundation in Delray Beach, Florida. The HERD Foundation's mission is to provide South Florida with equine-assisted activities designed to empower individuals to achieve personal development through the unique relationship between humans and horses. Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential learning approach designed to help participants identify, face, and work through life issues. EAL is similar to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), but instead of conducting psychotherapy, the focus is more toward education and skill enhancement. EAL programs often focus on social skills and leadership development.
FAMILY PROMISE BENEFIT
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC gave a basket of items and gift cards to raise money for the Family Promise of South Palm Beach County. Family Promise of South Palm Beach County believes that every child deserves a home. We empower families in making their transition from homelessness to sustainable independence. By 2025, Family Promise of South Palm Beach County intends to be the transformative regional leader in ending family homelessness.
TRASHY MERMAIDS, DELRAY BEACH CLEAN UP
Team Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC devoted time to the "Trashy Mermaids" the first Saturday of every month at 9am near the S3 Lifeguard Station for a Fabulous and Fun Beach Clean Up! The Beach Cleanup Program provides the opportunity for families, individuals and groups to participate in beach cleanups. Every one of us can do something to help protect our environment! We take action by removing trash and man-made debris from areas where it doesn't belong.
ST. PETRICK'S DAY COSTUME CONTEST
Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC sponsored the St Petrick's Day Costume Contest benefitting Dezzy’s Second Chance Animal Rescue. Dezzy's is a 501 (c) (3) and a Florida Non Profit that provides homeless dogs and cats in Palm Beach and Broward County with the opportunity to find a new loving home. Located on the Boca Raton, Delray Beach border, Dezzy’s Second Chance is an Animal Rescue that prides itself on connecting individuals and families with the pet of their dreams. 10K RUN FOR THE PAWS
Team Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC joined South Florida's largest charitable 10K running race, benefitting dogs and cats in need. HEROES IN RECOVERY 6K RACE
Team Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC ran The Heroes in Recovery 6K in June of 2016. Their movement started because 20 million people needed substance abuse treatment the previous year and did not receive it. It takes a heroic effort to live clean and sober each day, and a Heroes 6K celebrates that effort. The sixth kilometer separates a Heroes race from a typical 5K to symbolize the extra effort it takes to sustain recovery. The six kilometers also represent the six letters in the word HEROES. These races inspire communities to support recovery and also to live healthy, active lifestyles.
DELRAY BEACH TURKEY TROT
Team Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC raced South Florida's Turkey Trot in Delray Beach on November 19, 2016. Proceeds from the race benefitted the Keith Straghn Feed the Hungry Thanksgiving Drive. It was the late Keith Straghn who envisioned feeding the area's hungry. He was always visible cooking and serving Thanksgiving dinner for anyone who needed it. Keith was a remarkable man who collected foods and goods from the community to assure families in need would enjoy a beautiful holiday meal. Participants were encouraged to bring non-perishable items to the race.
