Payment Policy / Cancellation Policy for Multiple Day/Evening Pet Sitting

All payment for multiple day pet sitting is due before Client’s departure date.
By signing this contract, Client agrees to the Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services cancellation policy which is as follows:

During non-holiday time periods, please note the Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services) cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 8 or more days’ notice for cancellation prior to reservation: FULL REFUND GIVEN TO CLIENT.
  • 7-4 days’ notice for cancellation: 50 % OF TOTAL FEE REFUNDED TO CLIENT.
  • 3 or fewer days’ notice for cancellation: NO REFUND GIVEN TO CLIENT; FULL RESERVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CLIENT.

During multiple day/evening pet sitting over major national holidays for pet sitting reservations that are longer than 7 days in length, the Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 15 or more days’ notice for cancellation prior to reservation: FULL REFUND GIVEN TO CLIENT.
  • 7-14 days’ notice for cancellation: 50% OF TOTAL FEE REFUNDED TO CLIENT.
  • 6 or fewer days’ notice for cancellation: NO REFUND GIVEN TO CLIENT; FULL RESERVATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO CLIENT.

Payment Policy

Payments for all services are to be paid in full at time of the service. Jill’s Next Door accepts all major credit cards only. Credit cards will automatically be charged on the day of service. If Client requests to extend service, the Client guarantees payment at the same rate for all services provided upon request. If you wish to tip the Pet Sitter, please add to your invoice in the INVOICE tab in Time To Pet or leave cash.

Dog Walking Packages

All walks must be used within one year of purchase. No credit for unredeemed walks, and packages are billed immediately.

Holidays

New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Holidays billed at a time and a half.

Payment Policy / Cancellation Policy for Single Drop-in Visits, Vacation Visits, Dog Walking, and Pet Taxi Services:

All payment is due before Client’s departure date. By signing the service contract, Client agrees to the Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services cancellation policy which is as follows:

Non-Holiday
  • 24 or more Hours: No charge
  • 30 or fewer Hours: 100% of remaining scheduled visits up to 30 hours
Containing A Holiday
  • 8 or more Days: 50% of holiday visits plus 10% of total Service Request
  • 7 or fewer Days: 100% of total Service Request

Credit / Refund Policy:

Cancellation of visits not on a holiday will be credited to future services ONLY; No Refunds. Cancellation of visits on a holiday will be forfeited; No Credits or Refunds will be given.

Early Return to Home or Late Departure from Home:

Reservations are made to plan for sitter availability for Client’s reservation dates. Therefore, Clients returning home early or departing later than the reservation will be required to pay for the full reservation amount of time, regardless of whether Client returned home early or departed later than the prior reservation scheduled. No amount of money will be refunded to Client for early returns to home or late departures from home by Client after a reservation date has been agreed upon.

Dog Walking Cancellation Policy:

Regular monthly dog walk Clients agree to give two (2) weeks’ notice should Client decide to discontinue regular ongoing dog walking service. If Client cannot or does not give two (2) weeks’ notice, Client agrees to compensate Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services for what would have been the total for two weeks of regular dog walking service. Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services agrees that should Client discontinue service due to blatantly poor care/service from walker for any reason, then this two (2) week notice addendum will not be enforced by Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services.

Key/Access Policy

Convenience and accommodation remain among my highest goals to provide optimal pet care. To avoid a key pick up and drop off fees (see below) please have two (2) spare keys ready for me at the meet and greet. I prefer to have 2 keys in my possession should you need future services. Key pick up and/or drop off fee-$10 one way should you not choose this option.

If you live in a complex or neighborhood with doormen or gatekeepers, please also prepare to provide access codes and my full name to front desk or those who apply.
