Saint Rocco’s Mission

 Phoenix’s mission is to train puppies to become assistance dogs for individuals who live with a wide range of disabilities, who are unable to train their own assistance dogs. They believe that education on canine behavior and development is a crucial key in the success of their team work. They work with partners to develop skills they may not have: i.e. using a clicker, holding a leash, and reinforcing behavior. Many apply for an assistance dog, and do not work with the program for years until their number is called on the waiting list.
 Logan’s Hero’s mission is to rescue homeless, neglected and abused animals and place them into life-long homes, placing an emphasis on the human/animal relationship to help heal their owner. They partner with shelters that do not have the time or space to let dogs and cats heal or grow before they can find a forever home. They are all volunteers and do not receive any government funding to help care for all the animals. Donations and fundraisers are so important to continue to grow and help more animals in need.

Meet the Owners

Kolby and Kaleb Rush turned their passion for animals and their knowledge of dog food craftsmanship into a small business specializing in handmade baked dog treats. After perfecting their 5 ingredient dog treat recipes, they launched Saint Rocco’s Treats. Saint Rocco’s Treats gets its name from the patron saint of dogs: “Saint Rocco.” He was doctor, healing those who were ill. He himself became ill but society could not help him. Thankfully, a dog licked his wounds, and fed him bread until he fully recovered. They are symbolic of the love and loyalty dogs show us.
