Jill’s Next Door provides professional in-home pet care for pet parents who are unavailable to care for special-needs pets or pets requiring additional medical or wellness support. When available, our trained Vet Assistant can assist with services such as injections, subcutaneous (sub-Q) fluids, glucose testing, breathing treatments, nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and time-specific visits. These services may be added on to a regular pet-sitting visit.
Our customized pet-sitting visits are designed around your pet’s routine and may include feeding, supervised backyard time, playtime, companionship, pet clean-up, mental and physical enrichment, walks, litter box scooping, cage or tank maintenance (including heat lamp regulation), and basic home care such as adjusting blinds, watering plants, and retrieving mail or packages.
INJECTIONS
$10 per injection
Our trained Vet Assistant can administer prescribed injections for pets that require a higher level of care and monitoring. We do not provide vaccinations. Injection services are available as an add-on to our in-home pet sitting visits, ensuring your pet receives safe, reliable care in the comfort of their home.
SUB Q FLUIDS
$10 per injection
Our trained Vet Assistant can safely administer subcutaneous fluids for pets that require advanced, supportive care. This service is offered as an add-on to our in-home pet sitting visits, providing your pet with professional care and comfort at home.
GLUCOSE TESTS
$12 per test
Our trained Vet Assistant can administer glucose testing for pets that require a higher level of medical support. This service is available as an add-on to our in-home pet sitting visits. Glucose testing supplies may be provided by the pet owner or Jill’s Next Door, ensuring convenient and consistent care for your pet.
INHALERS
$5 per service
Your professional pet sitter can administer dog or cat inhaler treatments for pets that need respiratory support. This service is available as an add-on to our regular in-home pet sitting visits, ensuring your pet receives consistent, stress-free care in the comfort of their home.
NEBULIZERS
$5 per service
Your professional pet sitter can administer dog or cat nebulizer treatments for pets requiring respiratory support. This service is offered as an add-on to our regular in-home pet sitting visits, allowing your pet to receive calm, consistent care in the comfort of their home.
SPECIFIC TIME

Do you need a specific, exact time for a visit to administer medical or specialty care? We offer guaranteed time-specific visits for regular pet sitting services, ensuring your pet receives important treatments precisely when needed for their health and comfort..
NAIL TRIMMING
$8 Small / $10 Medium / $12 Large Dogs
We can trim your pet’s nails while you’re away. Clients must provide nail trimmers. Nail trimming is available as an add-on service to our regular pet sitting visits.
EAR CLEANING
$8 Small / $10 Medium / $12 Large Dogs
We can gently and safely clean your pet’s ears while you’re away. Ear cleaning is offered as a convenient add-on service to our regular pet sitting visits to support your pet’s comfort and overall health.
TEETH BRUSHING
$8 Small / $10 Medium / $12 Large Dogs
We can brush your pet’s teeth while you’re away to help support dental health and fresh breath. Clients must provide all oral care supplies. Tooth brushing is available as a convenient add-on service to our regular pet sitting visits.
*A 5% administration fee will be applied to each invoice total. New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Juneteenth Independence Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Veteran’s Day, Columbus Day, President’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Clients will be billed an additional $15 fee for each pet sitting/dog walking visits and $30 overnight fee on these holidays. Please note that if you live in a highrise, we require 45 minute dog walks and pet sitting visits to assure we have enough time with your pets(s) with consideration to: parking, front desk, key pick up and drop off, fob use, several elevator trips, etc. Adding the extra minutes allows us to get through the building while still providing a full service to your pets. This applies to dogs only, cats and other small pets can retain the 30 minute visit option.
Almost and Full Overnight Visits
Since Almost Overnight visits (90 minutes in the evening and 30 minutes in the morning) and Full Overnight stays (10-hour overnight care) include breakfast and morning and evening walks, many clients also add a midday and/or dinner visit or more for added coverage while away. Midday services can be easily added at the time of booking.
Multiple Hour Visits AND 20 HOUR CARE
Some pets need more care than our standard visit times, and we’re happy to accommodate extended services based on sitter availability. For pets who are anxious, lonely, or require extra attention, we offer 1-, 2-, 3+ hour visits and up to 20-hour in-home care. Extended visits of 3+ consecutive hours are $40 per hour, and 20-hour stays are fully customizable—please call for pricing.
CONCIERGE SERVICES
