Jill's Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC Promotes Pet Safety and Animal Rescue through PSI'S Early Education Program®
Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC offers engaging children’s presentations and educational materials designed to promote responsible pet care, pet safety, careers in pet care, and animal rescue for the next generation of pet owners in Palm Beach County, Florida. Jill covers important topics such as dog bite prevention, safe handling, canine body language, and animal rescue, and gives students the opportunity to “adopt” their own stuffed dog or kitty. Upon request, Jill’s Next Door can also provide live kittens through our rescue partner, All About the Cats Animal Rescue.
Presentations are available for schools, churches, synagogues, children’s events, summer camps, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and more.

Created by Pet Sitters International (PSI),the world’s leading educational association for professional pet sitters, PSI’s Early Education Program® provides members with educational materials and pet care information to share with children, emphasizing responsible pet ownership, safe handling, bite prevention, and more.
What DOES THE EDUCATION PROGRAM ENTAIL?
Jill presents engaging programs for children that explore careers in pet care, animal safety, and animal rescue. Through hands-on safety demonstrations with play dogs, discussions about animal rescue and the daily operations of animal shelters, and ways children can help animals in need, participants learn from nose to tail in an immersive and fun experience for all.
WhaT TO THE CHILDREN WALK AWAY WITH?
PSI'S EARLY EDUCATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:
1. Career Day
Students learn about careers in pet care, including the day-to-day operations of a pet sitting and dog walking business.

Students learn the importance of animal rescue by “adopting” a stuffed dog or cat, complete with a kennel and adoption certificate.

Jill Merjeski is the owner of the multi-award-winning pet care company, Jill’s Next Door Dog Walking & Pet Services, LLC. She is a Certified Professional Pet Sitter with specializations in canine behavior, fear-free training, and dog emotion and cognition. Jill is also the founder of the internationally recognized Jill’s Next Door Feline Alliance Program, which partners with local shelters to raise awareness for animal rescue.
Jill has fostered more than 300 kittens and has worked closely with animal rescue organizations throughout Palm Beach and Broward counties alongside an exceptional team of volunteers.
